Fortis Machinery Glue Release protects woodworking machinery, clamps, benches and spray booths from adhesive build-up. It creates a temporary release surface that makes dried glue easier to remove, reducing clean-up time and helping keep production equipment cleaner.

FORTIS Machinery Glue Release is a water-based natural wax release coating designed to protect machinery and production equipment from adhesive and resin build-up.
Applied before production, Glue Release forms a temporary protective barrier that helps prevent polyurethane, PVA, epoxy, melamine, resorcinol and other compatible adhesive systems from bonding directly to equipment surfaces. Dried adhesive contamination can then be removed more easily during routine cleaning.
It is particularly suited to structural and engineered timber manufacturing, finger jointing, glue lamination, furniture production and woodworking operations where adhesive can accumulate on glue applicators, presses, clamps, rollers, machinery and production benches.
Regular application can reduce cleaning time, minimise production downtime and reduce the need for aggressive mechanical or solvent cleaning of equipment.
The water-based formulation is silicone-free, zero VOC and low odour. It can be applied by brush, wipe, roller or spray and reapplied following equipment cleaning.
For existing heavy cured polyurethane or epoxy adhesive build-up on compatible metal equipment, use FORTIS C501 Adhesive Stripper.

Ensure equipment surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease and loose adhesive contamination before application.
Apply FORTIS Machinery Glue Release evenly by brush, wipe, roller or suitable spray equipment to areas where adhesive or resin contamination is likely to occur. Apply sufficient product to form a continuous protective release layer.
Typical application areas include glue applicators, presses, press components, clamps, rollers, machinery, fixtures and production benches used in structural timber, finger jointing, glue lamination and general woodworking operations.
Allow the protective coating to establish before commencing adhesive production.
During routine maintenance, remove accumulated adhesive and the release coating mechanically. Clean the equipment surface where required and reapply FORTIS Machinery Glue Release before returning the equipment to service.
Regular application helps prevent repeated adhesive build-up and reduces the time and effort required for equipment cleaning.
For heavy existing cured polyurethane or epoxy adhesive contamination on compatible metal equipment, FORTIS C501 Adhesive Stripper may be used before applying Machinery Glue Release.
Limitations: Do not apply to porous surfaces or pedestrian walkways. Glue Release may create a slip hazard. Avoid contaminating timber, substrates or surfaces that will subsequently require adhesive bonding, coating or finishing.
Suitable for compatible non-porous production equipment surfaces including metal machinery, glue applicators, presses, press components, clamps, rollers, fixtures, production benches and selected spray booth surfaces.
FORTIS Machinery Glue Release is particularly suited to equipment used with polyurethane, PVA, epoxy, melamine and resorcinol adhesive systems.
Surfaces should be clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease and loose contamination before application.
Do not apply to porous substrates, pedestrian walkways or surfaces that will subsequently require adhesive bonding, coating or finishing unless the release coating can be completely removed beforehand.
