ArmaLac™ Clear Metal Lacquer is an Australian-made clear protective metal lacquer designed to protect brass, copper, bronze and other polished metals from tarnishing, oxidation and corrosion.
Manufactured by Fortis Adhesives & Coatings in Australia, ArmaLac™ forms a clear protective finish that helps preserve the appearance of polished and decorative metal surfaces. Its combination of adhesion to polished metal, tarnish inhibition and resistance to UV and weathering makes ArmaLac™ suitable for both interior and exterior applications.
Unprotected brass, copper and bronze naturally react with the surrounding environment. Over time, this can cause tarnishing, oxidation, discolouration and the development of patina. Regular polishing can restore the appearance, but the surface will begin oxidising again once exposed. ArmaLac™ creates a clear protective barrier over the prepared metal surface, helping maintain its appearance while reducing the need for repeated polishing.
ArmaLac™ contains a tarnish inhibitor designed to help protect susceptible metals such as brass, copper and bronze from oxidation and discolouration.
ArmaLac™ is formulated to adhere to properly prepared polished metal surfaces while maintaining their decorative appearance.
The transparent coating allows the underlying polished or decorative metal finish to remain visible.
UV and weathering resistance make ArmaLac™ suitable for appropriately specified indoor and outdoor metal applications.
