Select the correct cartridge configuration and ensure the cartridge gun is set for the required 1:1 or 2:1 mix ratio.
Insert the compatible dual-component cartridge into the gun and secure it correctly. Remove the cartridge closure and attach the appropriate static mixing nozzle specified for the material being applied.
Before beginning the repair, dispense and discard a small quantity of material until both components are flowing uniformly through the static mixer. This helps ensure correctly mixed material reaches the repair area.
Position the nozzle at the joint, crack or application area and operate the trigger using steady pressure to maintain a controlled material flow.
For Fortis AD525, work within the product's specified application and cure times. Rapid-curing materials can harden inside the static mixer if application is interrupted for too long. Replace the static mixer before continuing if material begins to cure within the nozzle.
After use, release pressure from the gun before removing the cartridge. Follow the product-specific instructions for cartridge storage, reuse and disposal.
