Graffiti Shield™ PU528 is a water-based non-yellowing Polyurethane high protection two-component coating. It is used as a protective clear coat to improve self-cleaning and provide high chemical resistance that prevents most enamels that are commonly used to vandalize public spaces. This is considered a non-sacrificial anti-graffiti.

Mix Graffiti Shield™ PU528 Part A and B thoroughly before use. Stir for a minimum of 4 minutes using a jiffy mixer. Avoid rapid mechanical stirring as this will propagate air bubbles into the coating. Can be applied via brush, roller or airless spray.
Before application ensure that the substrate is clean, dry, and free of wax, oil, dirt, grease, curing compounds, and loose, flaking material. Ensure surface is between 10°C and 35°C. Ensure that area is well ventilated during application and until the coating has cured. New concrete must be cured for a minimum of 28 days before application. For the best result filling in of rough surfaces is done before applying the Graffiti Shield to make removal of graffiti easier, as rough surfaces give voids that make it difficult to clean.
