Fortis PAP is a single component adhesion promoter designed for use in areas where superior bonding is required to concrete, glass, and other cementitious and siliceous substrates. It is specifically formulated to improve the bond between difficult substrates and polyurethane adhesives and coatings.

Fortis PAP (Polyurethane Adhesion Promoter) is a low-viscosity single-component adhesion promoter designed for brush, roller, or low-pressure spray application. Surfaces need to be clean, dry, and dust-free. It is recommended that all residue from ground concrete be removed before application.
Apply in an even coat at 10-20m2/L to wet the surface. Do not allow it to flood or puddle. For roller application, a mohair roller is recommended. A high-quality wide brush is recommended for brush application. The material will be touch dry in 2 hours. It is recommended that subsequent coating or adhesive products be applied after a minimum of 4 hours and within a maximum of 24 hours.
Substrates should be thoroughly sanded or ground to provide a keyed surface. Remove all potential contaminants.
On new concrete surfaces, it is best to diamond grind the surface. Fresh concrete should be left to cure for a minimum of 28 days before application.
Old surfaces are best diamond ground but it is possible to etch and clean the surface. Contact Fortis Technical Support if unsure.
