Products: Fortis AD5025-S, Fortis AD5045-S, Fortis AD5205-S, Fortis AD5505-S.
Fortis structural polyurethane timber adhesives are designed for certified finger jointing and glue lamination and meet EN 302 / AS/NZS 4364:2010 requirements. Choose from 2- and 4-minute finger jointing grades or 20- and 50-minute structural lamination adhesives for Australian hardwoods, Radiata pine and engineered timber production.
Fortis manufactures single-component, moisture-curing polyurethane adhesives for professional structural timber and engineered wood production. The range combines high bond strength, water and heat resistance with different working times to suit production speed, timber size and assembly requirements.
FORTIS AD5025-S provides a working time of less than 2 minutes for high-speed finger jointing production. FORTIS AD5045-S provides less than 4 minutes where additional assembly time is required.
FORTIS AD5205-S provides less than 20 minutes working time for structural glue lamination and engineered timber production. FORTIS AD5505-S provides less than 50 minutes for larger beams, complex assemblies and production processes requiring extended layup time.
Fortis structural polyurethane adhesives bond a wide range of timber species including dense Australian hardwoods, Victorian Ash, Radiata pine and other softwoods. Applications include finger-jointed timber, glue-laminated beams, engineered timber components and other structural wood bonding processes.
The structural polyurethane adhesive range meets EN 302 / AS/NZS 4364:2010 requirements. Refer to the individual product Technical Data Sheet for product-specific certification, application rates, working times, bonding pressure and processing requirements.
Adhesive build-up on glue applicators, presses, clamps, rollers and machinery can increase cleaning time and production downtime. Fortis provides complementary products for both preventative equipment protection and removal of existing cured adhesive contamination.
FORTIS Machinery Glue Release is a water-based, silicone-free release coating that helps prevent polyurethane, PVA, epoxy, melamine, resorcinol and other compatible adhesives from bonding to production equipment. It is ideal for glue applicators, presses, clamps, rollers and woodworking machinery, making dried adhesive easier to remove during routine cleaning.
FORTIS C501 Adhesive Stripper is designed to soften and remove existing cured polyurethane and epoxy adhesive residues from compatible metal machine parts, tools and processing equipment. It is ideal where heavy adhesive contamination has already accumulated.
Prevent build-up with Machinery Glue Release. Remove existing cured adhesive with C501 Adhesive Stripper.
