FORTIS Golf Grip Glue is a medium-viscosity, solvent-based rubber cement specifically formulated for installing and replacing golf club grips.
The adhesive provides fast initial tack and forms a soft, flexible bond line that helps minimise wrinkling during grip installation. Once cured, the flexible adhesive allows the grip and residual glue to be removed more easily when future replacement is required.
FORTIS Golf Grip Glue is designed for the wet-stick installation method and is suitable for professional golf club repairers, golf workshops, pro shops and DIY golf grip replacement.
The adhesive may also be used for selected general-purpose craft and flexible bonding applications. Always test adhesion and substrate compatibility before use.

For golf grip installation, a one-way wet-stick method is recommended.
Remove the existing grip, grip tape and previous adhesive residue. Ensure the golf club shaft is clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease and other contaminants.
Apply FORTIS Golf Grip Glue evenly with a brush to the section of the shaft that will be covered by the new grip. Plug the butt end of the grip and pour a small quantity of suitable solvent into the grip. Shake to wet the internal surface, then pour the excess solvent over the adhesive-coated shaft.
Immediately slide the grip over the shaft and position correctly. Massage the grip into place and ensure that no air bubbles remain trapped beneath it.
Allow approximately 4 hours for the adhesive to dry before use. Final bond strength is achieved after approximately 24 hours.
FORTIS Golf Grip Glue may also be used for selected general-purpose art, craft and flexible bonding applications. Test adhesion and compatibility on the intended substrate before use. Do not apply below 10°C.

Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease and previous adhesive residue. Metal shafts should be thoroughly degreased with a suitable solvent before application. Test adhesion and compatibility before use on unfamiliar rubber, plastic or composite materials.
