Fortis AD525 is a rapid-curing, self-levelling, two-component polyurea elastomer designed for filling control joints, construction joints and suitable cracks in horizontal concrete surfaces.
Developed for industrial and commercial floors, AD525 combines flexibility with high hardness to help protect concrete joint edges from spalling under heavy traffic. It is particularly suited to warehouses, factories, workshops, cold storage facilities, freezers and food-processing areas exposed to forklifts, steel-wheeled trolleys and other demanding traffic.
AD525 is 100% solids and remains flexible at low temperatures. Its rapid cure allows repaired areas to be returned to service in approximately 60 minutes, reducing downtime during floor maintenance and repair.
The cured material provides greater than 200% elongation and Shore A hardness of 85–90. It can accommodate limited movement while providing support to the vertical edges of concrete joints.
AD525 is supplied in dual-component cartridges for controlled application and is suitable for both new joint filling and repair of suitable damaged joints and cracks.

Fortis AD525 is designed for filling control joints, construction joints and suitable cracks in horizontal concrete floors.
Concrete should generally be at least 28 days old. Joint faces must be clean, dry and structurally sound. Remove dust, laitance, oil, grease, loose concrete, existing sealants and other contaminants. Mechanically prepare damaged or contaminated surfaces back to sound concrete and remove all dust.
Install the AD525 cartridge into the correct 600 mL dual-component gun. Remove the closure and dispense a small amount without the static mixer until both components flow evenly. Clean the outlets and securely attach the correct static mixer.
Before filling the joint, dispense material through the mixer into a disposable container. Discard this initial material and continue purging until the mixture is uniform in colour and free from streaks. Repeat whenever a new mixer is fitted or dispensing resumes after an interruption.
Apply using steady, continuous pressure and fill the prepared joint or crack as required. Avoid prolonged interruptions because AD525 cures rapidly inside the mixer. If flow becomes restricted, replace the mixer and purge again.
Allow the material to settle, then shave or trim cured excess flush with the floor. Return to service is typically possible after approximately 60 minutes under suitable conditions. Refer to the current Technical Data Sheet for complete instructions.

Concrete must be clean, dry and structurally sound before application. Remove dust, laitance, oil, grease, loose material, existing sealants and other contaminants that may interfere with adhesion.
Joint faces should be mechanically prepared where necessary to expose clean, sound concrete.
AD525 is intended primarily for horizontal concrete joint and crack filling. It is not a structural crack-repair resin or a replacement for rebuilding missing or severely spalled concrete.
Where significant slab movement, structural cracking or damaged joint shoulders are present, the cause and appropriate repair system should be assessed before application.
