FORTIS AD512 is a single component, moisture curing polyurethane construction adhesive with low odour. It is recommended for bonding porous substrates to non-porous substrates. Excellent for where high bond strength is required. Suitable to use on slightly damp substrates. Note product foams slightly so clamping or suitable weight is required

Puncture end of foil sausage with a nail and squeeze out material as required. A 6mm diameter bead is recommended at a spacing that allows for 80% coverage once the overlay is bedded in. Alternatively, the material may be trowel onto the substrate with a suitable notched trowel. A 5mm wide by 6mm high V notched trowel with 25mm centres or similar is recommended. For thinner sections that may float with foaming, a 3mm wide by 3mm high V notched trowel with 10mm centres is recommended. Lay directly onto prepared glue minimizing sideways movement. Remove excess (or squeeze out). Fasten or weigh to secure during cure.
Ensure all surfaces clean and sound.
