Fortis Non-Slip Additive is a durable anti-slip solution that improves floor safety. It embeds into the coating to create a textured, slip-resistant surface. As a result, it helps reduce the risk of slips and falls on coated floors.
In addition, it is highly versatile. The additive works with a wide range of coatings, including all Fortis epoxy and polyurethane systems. Therefore, it is ideal for industrial, commercial, and residential use.

If necessary, remove a small portion of the coating from the can to reduce the risk of spillage. Next, add Fortis Non-Slip Additive to the coating at a recommended rate of approximately 2–5% (i.e. 20–50 grams per litre of coating).
💡 Tip: 1 tablespoon of additive = approximately 8 grams.
First, after adding the additive, stir the mixture thoroughly with a flat-blade stirrer. This ensures the additive is evenly dispersed throughout the coating. Next, during application, stir the coating at regular intervals. As a result, the additive stays suspended and does not settle. In addition, this helps maintain an even, slip-resistant finish across the surface.
