Mix Fortis Coat 527 according to the correct ratio. Once mixed, pour the material in ribbons across the area to be rolled. Use a microfiber 5mm nap roller cover for an even application. Apply Fortis Coat 527 over a previously primed surface for the best results.
The pot life is limited, so apply promptly. After the color is dust-free, apply the clear coat. Once the Fortis Coat 527 has hardened, sand the surface with P200 – P600 grit sandpaper before applying the clear coat.
For the best performance coating, start with thorough surface preparation. Substrates should be sanded or ground to create a keyed surface. Refer to Technical Note #4 - Surface Preparation for full details.
If applying over existing coatings, test the adhesion first. Be sure to remove any contaminants like dust, oils, or debris. For concrete surfaces, it's recommended to diamond grind for the best result. Additionally, fresh concrete must cure for at least 28 days before application.
