Aquepoxy® is a two-component water-based epoxy with a 25-year history protecting concrete floors. Formerly manufactured by Cavco Products, this established coating is now part of Fortis Adhesives & Coatings.
Its hard-wearing finish protects interior concrete against abrasion, oils, petrol and grease. Low odour and water clean-up make it a practical choice for industrial, commercial and residential floors.
Typical applications include multi-level car parks, large commercial complexes, factories, warehouses, workshops, restaurants and garage floors.
The coloured range provides a low-sheen finish. Clear Gloss and Line White options are also available. Contact Fortis for colour selection and availability.
Aquepoxy® follows the existing surface profile. It does not level uneven concrete or replace repairs to damaged surfaces. Correct preparation and adequate airflow during curing are essential.
Where additional slip resistance is required, use the specified aggregate and coating system. Performance depends on the complete installed finish.
For high-build or self-levelling flooring, explore the Fortis epoxy floor coating range.

Two-pack water-based epoxy floor coating.
Slip-resistance classifications are available for specified Aquepoxy® systems. The applicable rating depends on the coating finish, aggregate and application method. Contact Fortis for supporting slip-resistance and low-VOC documentation.
Typical Applications
Aquepoxy® is suitable for interior concrete floors in multi-level and basement car parks, large commercial complexes, factories, warehouses, workshops, restaurants, plant rooms and residential garages.
Application
Prepare the substrate to provide a sound, clean surface. Remove contamination, weak material and failed coatings. Assess existing finishes for compatibility and adhesion.
Mix Part A and Part B at 3:2 by volume. Apply at least two coats by roller, maintaining a wet edge. Do not dilute unless specified by Fortis.
Provide airflow across the floor during drying and curing. Follow the current Technical Data Sheet for complete mixing, preparation, application and return-to-service requirements.
Aquepoxy® is intended for sound, correctly prepared interior concrete floors.
Compatible existing coatings may be recoated after suitable preparation and successful adhesion testing. Remove peeling or flaking coatings before application.
Contact Fortis before use on masonry, flooring-grade plywood or particleboard. Aquepoxy® is not recommended for natural timber floors, polished surfaces or continuous water immersion.
