Fortis Non-Slip Additive embeds into the coating to provide a textured finish which reduces the slip hazard associated with coated floor surfaces. Compatible with many coatings, including all Fortis epoxy and polyurethane coatings.

Prepare surface in accordance with the applicable coating instructions. If required, remove portion of coating from the can to minimise spillage when adding and stirring in the additive. Add Fortis Non-Slip Additive to coating at a rate of ≈2 – 5% (i.e. 20-50 grams* / litre of coating).
Stir thoroughly with a flat blade to achieve an even distribution of additive throughout coating. Stir the coating regularly during application to prevent the additive settling and forming an uneven distribution. Always apply the coating as per the coating instructions. If a portion of the coating was removed to make space for the additive, mix it back into the can as soon as space allows.
