Concrete Shield™ Premium Lithium Concrete Densifier reacts quickly to create a highly polished concrete surface. Unlike sodium-based densifiers, it does not cause long-term whitening; therefore, your polished concrete stays cleaner and looks better over time. This densifier is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. For example, it is often used in warehouses, restaurants, retail stores, and residential spaces.
Nano-particle Lithium Silicate Concrete Densifier with Penetrating Additives
Apply one uniform, undiluted coat at 5-8 m²/L, depending on substrate porosity. To maximize penetration, scrub the material into the surface with a stiff bristle broom or industrial floor-scrubbing machine for at least 30 minutes, until the product gels or the surface feels slippery. Next, lightly mist with water and work it in for another 10-20 minutes. Rinse the floor and remove excess material using a squeegee and wet vacuum. Avoid letting the product pond. On porous, rough-textured, or broom-finished surfaces, a second coat may be needed 2-4 hours after the first. Floors can be returned to service 4-6 hours after excess removal.
Apply by spray or squeegee between grinding stages. For best results, apply twice: once early and once late in the grinding process. Note: Do not apply during the polishing stage.
Spray the sealer evenly at the recommended rate. For best results, apply 7 to 14 days after concrete placement to allow proper curing. Avoid applying on concrete less than 3 days old, as excess moisture may block full densifier penetration. Therefore, waiting ensures better absorption and longer-lasting protection.
Not suitable for use on natural stone. Do not apply over areas previously treated with concrete curing compounds or membrane forming sealers, unless these have been completely removed. Concrete Shield™ Premium Lithium cannot be expected to make bad or disintegrating concrete into good concrete. This product will not work effectively on lightweight, extremely porous, or worn concrete.
